It seems like there are a lot of reasons that the Merino Kids Baby Sleep bag is safer, but I am going to say the main reason is the material that it's made of... the Merino Wool. It absorbs more moisture and helps to regulate body temperature and it's naturally flame resistant. Not to mention the fact that it's also made from natural materials and allergy-safe! :o)

Your baby has the freedom to move naturally in their Merino Kids sleep sack, but unlike with sheets and blankets, they cannot get entangled or wriggle out and they do not wake uncovered and cold. This means your baby sleeps better as they stay cozy and warm all night without overheating.

The sleep bag is safer because "your baby has the freedom to move naturally in their Merino Kids sleep sack, but unlike with sheets and blankets, they cannot get entangled or wriggle out and they do not wake uncovered and cold. This means your baby sleeps better as they stay cozy and warm all night without overheating. " and with body temps being regulated and no entanglement is is much safer for your child. I am also excited about the toddler size. This would be perfect for so many of the 2-4 yr olds I know. I read that now you do have the larger size. I will be s ure to tell many of our friends and family with older children, not just infants. really love your infant wraps also!

It helps reduce the risk of SIDS!

Sleeveless to allow for free circulation of air to help prevent overheating. Babies sleeping under blankets rarely sleep with their arms covered and your baby will be comfortably warm in the Merino Kids sleeveless design.

Crafted from cuddly-soft superfine merino, this 100% natural sleep sack will absorb and release moisture to warm or cool your baby, regulating their body temperature so they don't overheat or wake up cold. And unlike with sheets and blankets, they cannot get entangled or wriggle out and they do not wake uncovered and cold. This means your baby sleeps better as they stay cozy and warm all night without overheating.

The Merino Kids Baby Sleep bag is safer because they can't get tangled in a blanket.

There are many great and safe features about the baby sleeping bag but the one that sticks out the most to me is it reduces the risk of SIDS,which is a scary thing for every parent.
